No matter how weak your body may be you have still the will of your Father to do. Speak to your brother with confidence. Even He experienced many trials and difficulties in this land of evil. Share your difficulties only with him. You are not detached yet from material things or even from your duties. Abandon everything. With Mary live an interior life. This is the only life intended for us by our Father. Don’t allow externals to interfere with this quiet interior life - Externals, even the conversion of souls. Let externals merely proceed from this interior dwelling place of the Holy Trinity. This interior life is the only life. Nothing else is worth the trouble. Mere vanity which passes away. Trust in God to show you how and what to do internally. Last Sunday night we heard Bob Santa Maria in the Catholic Hour. He showed that Christianity is the best solution for post war problems. All the forces fighting for control have 1) A policy (2) men (3) A spirit. Christianity has a sound policy as set forth by the Pope’s encyclicals. Christianity has leaders who are being trained and are doing things – witness: Rural movement, catholic action groups. This has never been successful in the past.
