No matter the nasty truth/backstory concerning the holiday, Im always thankful for this day because every last Thanksgiving in my life so far has been spent with family. My health is also something that Im extremely grateful for because sometimes we overdo it without realizing it, until it is too late. And man, my friends! My real life homies, my social media homies, the celebrity friends in my head (Rihanna, Tina Fey, Brad and Angie, Karl Lagerfield, Naomie Campbell, Trick Daddy- im looking at you!) Everybody keeps me so grounded and reminds me that no one is better off than anyone else when you take away money and fame, at the end of the day we all bleed and sneeze, no matter if you are Oprah or a bum on the street. Lastly, im thankful that I can admit that I am in love without completely losing myself. Its only complicated when I try to explain it to others so I dont... but Im good! One last thing- Im sooo thankful for gram trusting me enough to peel, mash and cook the sweet potatoes this year lol. Even though i been asking since I was 18...patience is a virtue lol.
