No matter what, I did not expect those HONOURABLES to climb the gate! No, I did not. I expect them to be more civilized than the Inspector General of the Police who is allegedly acting the script of his boss in the Presidency. I feel ashamed of those climbers. It really is a bad image to us Nigerians. They should have left the gate and instituted a court action immediately, against the Nigerian police. The need to get National Assembly ratification for the extension of emergency rule in the North East should be of higher priority than the impeachment of Speaker Aminu Tambuwal. Whoever advised President Goodluck Jonathan, PhD to do this is an enemy of our nation. Why not allow court to interpret the action of Tambuwals defection? Why not allow the house to reconvene and then use majority PDP members to impeach the speaker? Must PDP and presidency take law into their hands? Must our police institution be misused? I think we can all see why we need 6 regional governments, with their economic autonomy, with their police service commissions? The Nigerian Constitution is not clear about Tambuwals action. There is a difference between the moral and the legality of Tambuwals action. Now, it seems to me that the emergency rule may continue without the National Assembly ratification. And Doyin Okupe is justifying the police action now! What a peculiar mess of the people (in memory of Adelabu Adegoke Penkelemesi)
