No matter what the test, no matter what the trial - no matter what adversity arises against us, let us hold fast to the Truth of His Word and remember who we are in Him. Do not lose heart, do not allow your faith to become weak and ineffective. Go back to the rich promises of God and allow them to bring refreshment to your heart. Proverbs 13:12 reminds us that: Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when the desire comes, it is a tree of life. The enemy of our soul knows this, and will attempt to convince you opposite of the Word. He will attempt to steal away the promises of the Word from your mind, telling you there is no hope, and there is no way of escape for you. Dont you believe it. Hold fast to the Truth, which is the anchor to our soul. I like what King David said when faced with innumerable odds and enemies all around: Psalm 27:13 I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord In the land of the living. David rested in the promises of the Covenant, and we have a more sure covenant based upon better promises, based upon the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ! Let this be your profession of faith today: I believe I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living! Speak it out to your circumstances, speak it out when fear arises telling you there is no way, speak it out when you are tempted to doubt. Then praise Him! Praise is the highway that faith moves its blessings down!
