No matter who you are, what youve gone through in your life or how popular you may be; the believer has no choice but to submit to what God teaches through the Holy Scriptures. No one has the right to introduce new ideas that are not taught in the bible. Every believer must submit to the scriptures. Paul was aware of these very ideas that led many to wonder off. Colossians 2:8 See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to Christ. Ephesians 4:14 so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes. 1 Timothy 6:10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs.
