No my dear hedonist, I shall pleasure you in word and deed for - TopicsExpress

No my dear hedonist, I shall pleasure you in word and deed for this is what you need and although the previous paragraph may seem the ranting of a lunatic, I shall enjoy you for as long as life will permit. I am not lost without you but I am weighed down with the deepest desire and need to be with you. When it is time, I shall walk away and pretend the stiff upper lip that colonialism has granted me. I shall be the pragmatist taught by Machiavelli in his book, The Prince. For now however, I shall explore this strength of emotion along with you. You have done for me more than history has done for me. I suppose one can call this being lovesick and fortunately, sicknesses are overcome at some point. And what of you most gorgeous of post-modern women? How hard do you cling to rationality and pragmatism? How difficult is the fight for you? Ah, how sweet actions often belie the desperate clinging of words long held to be truly representative of what and who we are. So often your love shines so much brighter than the words you utter. This hour the rationalist, but the next the sweet lover I have known. One minute you are soft and tender but the next minute you are the growling, lust driven, and sensuous beyond imagining. We fool ourselves if we think that every emotion is manageable. And so it should be for were it indeed always manageable then surely an aspect of love would be eternally lost. The unpredictability of emotion and love is what makes it so exciting. Love is to be enjoyed for what it unpredictably must be at times. The soft smile enticed by deep-throated words whispered in ears shivering with anticipation. The tender tracings of a hand along the length of your body culminating in the teasing touches of one wonderfully in love. The heaving of the chest as the body tries so hard to control, the excitement that anticipation presents. The little shivers that hint of pleasurable explosions to come. What of these things my friend? Do you not love them and succumb to them in helpless, willing fashion as I do?
