No new news, and nothing more from Caudillo or Fox. The public radio interview is next Wednesday! I am told by quite a few folks that words and pictures are still well out in Mendocino. Hopefully the interview will include links to this site and the Fox interview. Meanwhile, I do feel the doldrums trying to grab me, although I will resist! The waiting is the hardest part Every day you see one more card You take it on faith, you take it to the heart The waiting is the hardest part Thus, we are all continuing to work on our distractions. Zeke is combatting his stress by killing hummingbirds. Callie, by overeating. T, by reading, swimming and hanging out with friends (although I am very grateful she survived the big waves at the JG tryout for Regionals, after she took on too much salt water). Q, today, by sleeping a lot, eating chicken, and generally observing a day of rest. Me, by organizing all my e-mail related to this (although, unsurprisingly that was not relaxing and possibly rather stressful) and by working on my calendar for next week (instead of making and eating a zillion chocolate chip cookies). Yes, I am changing the things I can! Now, to work on acceptance, and more footwork. By the way, yesterday, staying open to Native American ideas, I smudged the whole house, the kids, the cats, the new water heater, and the rear-ended car with the cracked front window, with sage. I note that today brought no new big or small disasters. I will keep you posted on the continued effectiveness of this experiment. :) I remain very grateful to all of you, for your hopes, prayers, shares, talks, walks, and constant encouragement.
