No, no one is exempt from math. But, what this fails to recognize is that we are all paying for the uninsured now. The insurance companies could turn down the sick but hospitals couldnt. We pay when people have to declare bankruptcy for medical expenses. We pay when hospitals recoup their losses on the backs of the insured. We pay when people use the ER like a primary physician. What he is says is true, but the Affordable Care Act isnt just a moral imperative, its goal is to make health care and its costs more transparent. -S.T.E.
