No official word yet on whether Ewan McGregor will return to Star Wars Episode VII, as the ghost of Obi-Wan Kenobi, but his uncle is out. McGregors uncle, Denis Lawson, played Rebel Wedge Antilles in the original Star Wars trilogy, but Lawson turned down the opportunity to reprise his role in Episode 7. Lawson addressed the question at a screening for his new movie, The Machine. They asked me but it just would have bored me, he said. Personally, I could care less. It just means more screen time for much more interesting characters.
