No one ever gave me a dam thing. I earned it through sweat and tears and I dont appreciate some jerk comparing my retirement benefits to welfare. While they sit in their offices or homes on their fat privileged butts I was working as a nurse taking care of thousands of peeps over the years, doctor,police, firemen, everyday people like myself. Yes, I do see red when some jerk tells me that my retirement is welfare when it is actually the taxes I paid in over the uncounted hours I worked over the years. Hours I spent taking care of more then a few rich arrogant ,entitled , people who couldnt even show respect for the people they depended on. Maybe they ought to join the real world.
