No one is prefect and as for me Im even further from it. Im what i call a new millennium digital-typical Blackman. Convicted felon, with baby Mamas, two college degrees, self employed, conscious, revolutionary, Pan Africanist farmer with a vice. Women. Ive had some good women who I rushed home to. And Ive had some wooo-man who i didnt want to go home to. But i soon learned that all things began and end with me. I had to be the Alpha male and not the Omega boy and some time that boiled down to just knowing who to love. My father said its not always about who you choose son its who chose you. You are who you are and to change that is you being other than yourself and thats uncivilized. It took time and wisdom for me to truly understand what was me and what wasnt me. Some of the things that were holding me down were the things that i was so desperately trying to keep. My mom would say let go and let God. I was holding on to all things ungodly and when I decided to let go is when i was able to connect to the God in me. Enjoy the song.
