No one knows if 1 year old Hunter just wandered too far from his owner or whether it was his owner who tied him to that fence in a Queens park. What is known is that this handsome pup is now sitting in a cage at Brooklyn ACC and no one has come for him. He let them examine him but being only 1, all he wanted to do was run and play and just be a big baby that he is. Found in good health and at a decent 52 lbs, its clear someone took reasonable care of him. But now, he sits in that crate hoping someone will come over to take him out just to do his business, stretch his legs, play, give doggie kisses and do all those things a guy his age loves to do. But ACC has now decided they have no more time for Hunter and he’s on tomorrow’s euthanasia list. Tonight, Hunter needs to find that special someone who looks at this gorgeous hunk of a dog and just knows that he’s going to be so much fun to raise. He needs someone who is patient enough to teach him all those grown up doggy things that a big baby like Hunter needs to learn. And he needs someone who doesn’t mind doggie kisses. Are you that someone? If you are, step up to foster or adopt Hunter. But do it now—tomorrow Hunter will be gone forever—only you can see to it that he will be around to celebrate his 2nd birthday. #NOKILLNYC RT
