No one sees things like this coming. No one ever imagines that someone- for no apparent reason- will spend 350,000 dollars of his own money to make a 7,000 pound bronze bull, and then, with the help of some friends, wait for a 4 minute gap in time when the night watchman isnt there on his rounds, and leave the bull in the middle of Wall Street. If there was ever a random thing in the cosmos, this has to lead the list of random things. And, despite the controversy over the Brazen Bull, I think it might have a quaint use there on Wall Street. Legislation might be looked at requiring any trader or group of traders or bank officials who tank our economy again to be put inside the Bull, as it is being heated to glowing red hot. Draconian measures have been used before to shore up trading practices.
