No one single food can ever be considered “good” or “bad” - TopicsExpress

No one single food can ever be considered “good” or “bad” and bad food will not make you gain fat if consumed in a calorie controlled diet! In order to lose fat you MUST be in a calorie deficit! It doesn’t matter how “clean” you eat, you need to consume fewer calories than you burn. This is not to say fill your calories with what ever you want, obviously macronutrients, micronutrients and fibre are key to a diet and moderation of processed food goes a long way! When you ban bad foods from your diet you might stick to it for a couple of days or weeks, and make progress. However, the majority of the time this will result in a binge-guilt cycle over and over again. Believe me Ive been there! That’s where adopting a flexible diet is so important. If you really want that piece of cake in moderation, factor it into your daily calories of eating. Heres a great article from Healthy Living, Heavy Lifting emphasising the point there are no such things as bad/good clean/unclean food - healthylivingheavylifting/the-latte-and-lemon-drizzle-cake-diet/
