No outrage, no rioting, no National news spotlighting this officer related shooting. When a black cop kills an unarmed white kid, the media just doesnt seem to care. Watch the video. The kid was being shady, but he was unarmed, and walking away from the police officer with his hands in his waistband. When he is told to show his hands, he pulls up his shirt and the officer fires thinking the kid was reaching for a weapon. Its a mistake, and one the officer will have to live with the rest of his life, but the point is, you dont see rioting and demonstrations from anyone over this. The kid simply isnt the right race to make it a National news item. Which is a really sad commentary on todays United States of America. The bottom line these days is simple. There is so much reverse racism going on these days its criminal. To me, this isnt about race. This is about bad people doing bad things and feeling justified in their behavior because they believe that their oppression excuses it. Bullshit. Dont be a shady person up to no good and you likely wont get shot to death by a policeman, accidentally or otherwise...And dont riot and destroy peoples property in your protest. The world isnt fair.
