No picture to share this time, but a message of victory for Big Mac. My amazing husband has made it through a sore leg & pressed on to the Village of Fontana Hilton Hostel after hiking 16 miles! He has rested there & continued on for another 15 miles to Spence Field Shelter, where he has pitched a tent, because the shelter is full of hikers. He called from his tent & said that he is working hard to make it to Gatlinburg for our visit on Sunday afternoon. He has set a goal to hike tomorrow to Mollys Ridge, which isnt on the map, so I probably misunderstood the destination. All that I care about is that he is at Newfound Gap on Sunday afternoon for a pickup. I plan to spoil him silly for a couple of days. My sister is going to make the trip with me, thank God, because I have never driven that far before alone in my life & I was a little scared to drive alone. My big sissy is coming to my rescue again! How blessed I am! Thank you, Lord! I have a list of items to bring for Big Mac to continue. Im so thankful for a job that allows me to be so flexible to accommodate this journey with my husband! Feeling very blessed tonight!
