No place like home... Today as I leave East Texas and travel west to spend some time with my Mother, brother, and sister I finally have the realization that I have known all along. Healing begins at home-wherever that may be. As much as I thought I hated and resented where I came from, attempting to run as far away as I possibly could, feeling sorry for myself and holding on relentlessly to all that was less than perfect - the fog has lifted. Diboll is my home - home consists of people, some you love, some you tolerate, but both equally important to the holistic self. There are so many more people in or are at least still near Diboll that I did not get to interface with this during short trip, but should expect to see me face-to-face this summer. I am going to mention publicly just a few (not all) that probably dont realize the profound affect they had on me during that personal growth period. Ok...so Bryan Davis, Keith Dover, Wes Amason, Coach Karl Williams, Coach Baker, Coach Drake, Ms. Marie, Gwendolyn and Kelly Hicks, Charlotte Grant, Patrick Finley, Bobbi Charles (the only guy that ever knocked me outđ) , Frank III Lane, Bradley Baker and others...love you all.
