No positives to take at all, from yesterday,s abysmal performance.the news that Sturridge is out for 6-8 weeks, seemed to effect the players as much as the fans, if I,m being kind! the depth of the squad isnt there and as Rodgers said himself, its going to take another 2-3 transfer windows to get it up to scratch, still, there was no excuse for that yesterday.Dull did get lucky with 2 of their goals but our defending always seemed panic stricken. Sahko should be in the team ahead of Toure, simple. midfield gives the most concern though. Although Stevie is gettin on, he can still make an impact, as proved with the free kick. Lucas offers nothing, zero, zip.if he,s there to protect the back four, then he must take a big share of the blame for conceding 6 in two games.its not working, time to have a rethink.he has no impact in the final third either, so why is he there? Sterling? a stat yesterday said Mignolet made more passes than he did. nothing more to add,needs binning.Suso should be in that team ahead of Sterling all day, instead the club made the great decision to loan him out to Almeira, where he,s flourishing. Ive backed him all season and I still think he,s a good player but like others in midfield, he doesnt have a goal threat.needs to find one. Dull pressed us well in midfield, consequently we pissed about with the ball in our own half too much with no outlet.thats where Coutinho comes in. he finds space and is always looking for the ball but he,s carrying an injury aswell and we dont have much in the way of an alternative. needs addressing in January. havent seen enough of Alberto to judge.
