No problems overnight, Rex slept like a rock. Last night, before we went to sleep, I lay down next to him on his bed. He was just so happy to be home and to have me there. I put my arms around him, and he snuggled with me. He was resting his head in my arms, and snorting. He was much more bright and alert than he was at the vets office, and he seems almost back to his normal self though he still cant stand on his feet. Out of all the tests they tested for, nothing came back particularly bad or conclusive. They even did an ultrasound and didnt find anything. So we still dont really know what caused it. Could be vestibular disease, but hes already recovered and never had an ear infection so that seems less likely at this point. It could have been a small stroke but that doesnt seem too likely either. It could still just be the side effects of Flagyl, and while that seems to be the most likely cause we dont know that for sure either. All we know is that hes better now with no apparent long term effects so well just move forward from here.
