Except that the young man is described by witnesses and roommates as being a religious zealot who spent the afternoon watching YouTube videos related to his Christian beliefs before attacking the others for practicing witchcraft because of his strong Christian beliefs. Oh, and the 911 tape where he starts rambling about all of the above. No religious implications? Maybe I dont understand that is an Oklahoman colloquialism Im not familiar with... :-( Im sorry, but Ill ask again, (as I did last week with the mother who stabbed her teenager daughters so they could meet Jesus before the rapture) - when are we going to be able to start having open conversations about mental health and the effects of Religious Trauma Syndrome? MENTALLY ILL? Probably! But, remember - the day before this murder, most people would have just considered him a devout Christian. There arent many details yet, but - is there a chance that this guy wouldnt have been compelled to murder withOUT the devout religious zealotry described by his friends? One minute you are playing video games, the next... One minute your family is enjoying lunch at an In-N-Out Burger in Redding, the next... One minute you are hanging out with your sisters upstairs, the next... Is it just me, or has there been a rise of these bizarre incidents lately? Maybe its the coming apocalypse?
