Please dont forget Opening Ceremonies practice on Tuesday- 3:45-5:30! Elgin FFA & Ag News Week of September 1-5 Sausage Sales - Mon., Aug. 18-Mon., - Sept. 15 - Collect money up front! Dues - $25 for “Dues Package,” which includes dues and an FFA t-shirt - Must be paid by Sept. 5 in order to take advantage of the “Dues Package” – Students can pay with cash or check made out to ELGIN FFA - Regular dues are $15, chapter FFA t-shirts are $15 Opening Ceremonies - Practice on Tuesday, Sept. 2 in the ag building from 3:45 pm to 5:30 pm - Students should all have two parts. Must have both parts and unison parts memorized by Tuesday MFE/ALD - OKC on Dec. 14-15 (Sat. & Sun.) -- $95 - Deadline for money has been extended to October 1. Any spots that haven’t been paid for will be offered to another student or sold to another chapter. - Official Dress is required FFA Jackets - FFA jackets are $65 and include a tie of scarf. Students must turn in their money (cash or check) before the jacket will be ordered! Agtropolis - Let Miss Jones know if you cannot go by Sept. 18! -Sunday, Sept. 21 at the Oklahoma State Fair. We will leave the ag building at 10:15 am and We will be back between 11 and 11:30 pm - Students will need to bring lunch money (fast food) and dinner money (fair food) Public Speaking - Tuesday, September 9 at 3:45 pm in the ag building – Mandatory meeting for students wanting to give fall and/or spring speeches. Shooting Sports - All students interested in sporting clays team should talk to Mr. Estes! Record Books - Keep track of your records for your SAE projects! theaet
