No surgery at this time, but he cannot sustain any further damage or he will require surgery. He still has blood in his eye & sinus cavity, but the doctor seems confident that should go away in the next week. The numbness in his face & mouth is caused by the swelling & pressure on the nerves. He has given him an antibiotic & steroid. We will repeat the scans next Monday morning & then see the doctor afterwards. If all is good, he will probably release him to resume normal activity with no horse playing around (like thats going to happen, haha). So, this is good news!
