No, this does not mean Michael Brown deserved to be shot. No, this does not mean the police necessarily acted justly and correctly. And no, this doesnt mean that the militarization of the police is not a serious problem. But what this does mean is that before jumping to conclusions concerning issues and events of which we do not know the surrounding circumstances, before pronouncing judgments without knowing the so-called facts, we should practice caution and discernment, assess the entirety of the situation, and try to gather as much information as we can before convincing ourselves that one particular version of the story is/was true. This is Trayvon Martin all over again, folks....we dont know the facts. Lets not pretend like we do... In the meantime, what we can do is pray for everyone involved.
