No where does it say that the pastor of the church must be the top - TopicsExpress

No where does it say that the pastor of the church must be the top guy...Peter was not a pastor, nor was Paul, they were both more like advisers, evangelists and church planters with their emphasis in making sure that the churches were self sufficient and looking to GOD, not man. The churches were typically formed in homes, the owner of the house could be a facilitator, allowing for the meetings to take place in their house. So there might be someone who can read, who reads the scriptures, someone who has a gift for discerning, who tells them what is amidst, someone who can sing or play an instrument, who contributes to the music, someone who has healing powers, who prays for the sick, someone who has money, who pays for the food, someone who can coordinate, who arranges for meetings, someone who is good with money, who helps with charity, someone elderly, who applies wisdom and there were those who came to learn and teach and share, yet collectively, they were ONE. Imagine today, Mr So and So saying GOD has asked him to start a church, but that he needs people to fill in all of the above, he will just provide the venue? Think about the humility and what that church would look like, no chips, no touch not my anointed crap, If they need transportation, they would buy a van or bus, not a Benz for the pastor, if they need a plane, it would be one big enough for all, not just for the pastor, if they build a school, it will be for all, not just the privileged, they will see themselves as equals, with different roles and offices, but all for the same cause...this is the church CHRIST is coming back for, not one of inequality, with leadership bragging about keys they dont have or looking down on people wanting to meet with them or acting as though they dont belong, they just preach there, noooo, that is not the church...does your church look like Mr So and Sos? ≈ʞDL®™©2015
