No wonder the presenter here is almost in tears: No one believed the warning that this is coming: In his opening speech, the newly elected GC president enthusiastically declared the necessity of getting the Book,”The Great Controversy” into every home, and there was a long applause from the multitude delegates present. Has that been fulfilled now?? The original “Great Controversy which the devil attacked most, and which its inspired writer advised its broad distribution, is now printed in 140 million copies, but its title was changed to” The Great Hope”, and is only 12, or so, chapters, after eliminating all that deals with the reformation, the mark of the beast, and the coming persecution on God’s people. What is happening? Are we trying to compromise? The church that holds to the word of God is irreconcilably separated from Rome. .
