No word from our GI doc who also follows Damien for his liver. I placed a call to her nurse this morning explaining the (even more) lowered WBC and the elevated LFTs ( liver function tests) and she assured me shed speak directly to our dr and someone would be in touch with us to address the issue. Meanwhile, I am keeping the faith and continuing to pray that everything is just fine, however I know that even if it is not, we will deal with whatever challenges come our way just fine. While yes, I am worried, I also know Damien is one tough cookie. Hes our heftyman and a miracle in every sense of the word. Weve traveled this road many a time before and will do so again, if needed, head on. Please keep us in prayer as we wait on much needed information. Thank you all SO much for all the support you continue to show our family. In part, our strength comes from each of you through this page and it is so very very appreciated.
