No work is insignificant. All labor that uplifts humanity has dignity and importance and should be undertaken with painstaking excellence. -Martin Luther King Jr. Reminding myself today that what I do is important. Engaged recently in conversation with a woman whom said that what I did wasnt a major contribution to the well being of others. In another breath, she mentioned that being educated really isnt a requirement for what I do. I invited her to sit in my chair for an experience with me. What I do with hair, more often than not, has nothing to do with hair. Whatever it is that YOU are doing... Thank you for doing it. I am grateful for every Construction Worker, Grocery Clerk, Nurse, Soldier, Barista, Teacher, Actuary, Farmer, Librarian... you get my point. Be proud of what you do, and do it, knowing that YOU are contributing the goodness of us all. Make a difference today somehow in someway with what it is that YOU do. #blessthislady
