#No_negotiation_no_convocation_ONLY_RESIGNATION_Hokkolorob Hokkolorob at Convocation , Jadavpur University 2014 Convocation-e Hokkolorob What happened on 17th September is Unforgettable , Unforgivable . And yes after the mass upsurge that followed , some or one (authority official/s) resigned while many did not. Our demand has always been Resignation of the Exisitng University Administrative Authority which was responsible for the police brutality and state aided cadre hooliganism in the campus . We demand this resignation through the Resignation of Abhijit Chakrabarty , currently the Vice Chancellor-administrative head , also in the list of most detested characters in the history of University affairs. Thus it gives rise to various ambiguities when one choose to accept certificates from University Authority Officials other than the Vice Chancellor. Remember , on that night none of the officials objected formally to the decision of the Vice Chancellor , nor there were any written statements issued by the authority officials afterwards collectively or individually condemning the entire incident and declaring themselves incompetent in handling University Administrative Affairs ,hence resigning. The fight is not against an INDIVIDUAL , but against the repressive character of the State , Authority , that always tries to suppress brutally any dissent , any questions ,protest !!! So if you want to register your protest in Convocation 2014 , Registered it Against the Administrative Authority - Which includes VC along with all the other officials who are responsible for campus violence in one way or the other .
