Noah: A Movie Review by Sheri So we finally get a date night and Im excited to see a movie from the Bible! I ponder what Hollywood fillers have been added to extend the plot as I look forward to Noah and his familys ark, animals, and rainbow. Showtime. The setting began in a barren and overcast land. So I waited for a glimmer of Noah, who walked with God, and the important job he set before him. But the longer the movie played the more twisted and disturbing it became. By the end of the movie, I was just plain disgusted. Sure the movie had Noah and his family, an ark, some animals, and a rainbow, but thats all it had. NOTHING else even remotely resembled the true story. Man, if I wanted to watch a dark movie about a psychopath, I have about a million other choices playing on TV right now. At the very least, it did make me reread Genesis to refresh it in my mind. Hopefully, others will do the same. But Hollywood, please leave our Biblical men and women out of your psychopathic, twisted and disturbing movies. Thank you.
