Noah. It just didnt float our boat. We read the book and liked the book a lot better. Actually, the movie and the book had nothing to do with each other. One of the arguments made to silence those who criticized the movie before its premiere was, Look, it may not be a perfect movie. Or a great interpretation of the Bible, but if you want to see Hollywood making more movies about the bible then wed better not be so critical. Christians need to go out and support this movie. Thats why we made a point to go see this movie on the day it was released. However, as we drove home, I found myself thinking, maybe we dont want Hollywood making movies about the Bible. Maybe, that is the problem. The Bible is sacred. Is it really a good idea to try to turn into entertainment? Bottom line--the movie Noah, in my opinion, fails on almost all fronts. I wanted to like it, but just couldnt. Dont waste your money.
