Noah Update: Noah is Evolving Noahs stunted growth is not limited to just physical. He has missed out on his puppyhood and his confidence. But that is changing rapidly. Not surprisingly, Noah is not great on a leash. However, off leash he stays right with you. In fact, he believes that if you are not tripping over him he must not be close enough. He also thinks your lap is a mobile dog bed, your left arm is a petting machine and your right arm is a headrest. He is a good little guy. Hes kind, gentle and seems to want to apologize for doing something wrong. He has shown no interest in Ava unless he thinks she has a morsel of food. He seems to want to make up for lost time with people. Because neither dog shows any interest in the other and Noah needs to develop is own individuality, it was time for him to take the next step. He went to his foster home this afternoon, the same foster home that took care of Keely. When volunteer Karey took Noah to his new foster home, he was very timid walking inside. He has likely never known the warmth and comfort of a home. He met his new foster brother Tank, a Suncoast Animal League alum. After a few sniffs they were playing together and Tank quickly found out he has a new shadow named Noah. It wont be long before Noah understands what being a puppy is all about. Noah was also introduced to his very first kong toy with a smear of peanut butter, and he curiously licked it while curled up on his bed. Tired, he quickly fell asleep and the kong was forgotten. Even after everything his little body has endured, he LOVES to be held, touched, hugged and kissed. He fell asleep next to his foster mom and no matter how he moved in his sleep, he kept one paw on her arm. No question, Noah is quickly evolving.
