Noah’s Ark is on the move! We are pleased to announce that we will be moving to larger premises on the 4th August. Our new address will be 39 Station Road, Fowey, PL23 1DF. The telephone number will remain the same. The location is very convenient for parking at either the Caffa Mill or the Station Road Car Parks. We will be expanding to three surgeries and in addition to our existing team of Naurooz, Charles, Jovita, Janette, Nina, Tracey and Sue we are delighted to introduce some new clinicians who will be joining us: Carrie Bradburn – Dentist - GDC number 57359 Carrie gained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1982 and her Diploma in Postgraduate Dental Studies in 1998. She is a Clinical Supervisor at the Peninsula School of Medicine and Dentistry and the Bristol University Postgraduate Regional and Hands On Dental Tutor for Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. Dora Lengyel – Dentist - GDC number 212461 Dora gained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the Peninsula Dental School in 2011. She has experience in general dental practice and working in the Oral Surgery Department at the Royal Cornwall Hospital. Demelza Bowden - Hygienist and Therapist - GDC number 171054 Demelza achieved her Diploma at Cardiff dental School in 2008. She has experience working both in general dental practice and in the community dental service. Katrina Craig – Hygienist - GDC number 3055 Katrina qualified in 1985 with the Royal Army Dental Corps. She has a wealth of experience in NHS and private dental practice. Nancy Medina Diaz – Trainee Dental Nurse will be joining our existing team of dental nurses to provide essential chairside support Lisa Clemo - GDC number 212591 has already joined us as Assistant Practice Manager but she is also a fully registered dental nurse so on occasions she will be donning scrubs and assisting at the chairside. NHS Dental Care Noah’s Ark Dental Practice is the only practice in Cornwall that is piloting the new dental contract. We are helping to develop a better way of working – based on a preventative philosophy. This has meant spending more time with our patients and has led to long waiting lists for treatment. Now that we will have a bigger team we look forward opening up our NHS list again. We should be able to take on an additional 500 patients. We will be taking patients from the official waiting list held by the Dental Help Line. If you wish to become an NHS patient with us you must put your name on the waiting list held by the Dental Help Line (01872 354375). Once we have reached our NHS limit we will not be able to take on any additional NHS patients but we will still be able to offer dental care under one of our dental care plans. Private Dental Care We are pleased to announce that we will be introducing a range of private dental care plans to cater for patient’s different needs. These start at just £7.85 per month for an annual Oral Health Examination and Hygienist Visit with 10% discount off the cost of any other private treatments. Also included in the plan is: • Worldwide Dental Trauma and Emergency Callout Insurance. • Redundancy protection for your monthly payments for up to 12 months.
