Noam Chomsky interviewed by Chris Hedges: Invest an hour in watching this (if you havent already done so). It really helps in understanding where we are and what hopes there are for avoiding more and more deterioration of our society. Chomsky says, for example, was a tactic (as opposed to a strategy) but he admits that it succeeded, as a tactic, beyond what he had even imagined it would and that we need to take ours clues for what to do in the future based on an analysis of its successes. I think that anyone who takes the hour to watch this will be inspired and a little more confidant that there is still real hope for the future if we continue to take more and more initiative. One of the many interesting points is where Chomsky takes Hedges to task for asserting the militarization of the Police forces in the nation has already pushed us to the point where real resistance is virtually impossible (this is near the end of the video).
