They know they can’t fight it. And they know we’re dependent upon China, not only for cheap goods and labor, but also for their money. So instead of fighting China’s rise, they are actually — largely behind the scenes — helping China. They know they can’t tick off our largest creditor ... and they know that we can’t possibly pay back China all the money it’s lent us.
