Nobody Bats .1000...when you are at the top of your game and it appears that you are batting .1000 in the game of life, and all seems well. Is usually right at the time when some of lifes greatest trials and test will come. Although we may have mastered how to handle success, sometimes God wants to see how we handle failure. When everything is not right, our life that was once in perfect standings becomes one that is tried in the fire of Gods process, to see if we will waiver or stand firm in the faith that has kept us to this point. - Coach Mason Life Truth: There is a reason I write this today, because my good friend and brother (Mike) and I were on the phone last night talking about his daughter and the tumor that was just removed from her abdomen. He is sharing how up to this point his life has been perfect, but he knows nobody bats .1000 in life. I said man that is such a true fact. None of us bat .1000 in the game of life. He viewed this trial not as negative, but one in which he felt it was Gods way of testing his heart to see if he was willing to trust God in trial, the same way He was in victory. I thought to myself, how many of us have been here; trusting God in our successes, but abandoning Him in our failures. Know this God teaches us in both, so do not be discouraged in your trial as God moves just as powerfully in the imperfections of our lives, as He does the perfections. So trust Him regardless of what you may have to go through. Prayer: Do one thing today...ask God for a supernatural move of healing today in Mikes family. Scripture: When times are good, be happy; but when times are bad, consider this: God has made the one as well as the other. Therefore, no one can discover anything about their future. Ecclesiastes 7:14
