Nobody cheated. Nobody lied. Life just keeps dealing out its struggles and after working so long to overcome them sometimes you just get tired. You think that you just want to forget everything & everybody, pack a bag and disappear...until you remember WHO GOD IS. Somehow we get the idea that once God elevates you out of one struggle that its over and let the good times roll. It doesnt work like that because most of us have more than one lesson to learn. This morning I would like to share how God is sustaining us through disaster. We live 15 miles out of town. The clutch went out on our one vehicle at a time when there was no extra funds to fix it. It seemed this was the situation that was going to bury us. Our jobs, our home were in jeopardy. However when we first moved here God led us to Hill Country Church where the Pastor and his flock believe in putting action where their prayers are! One members mother owns a Car Quest parts store...BOOM! Brand new clutch on credit. Another brought his car hauler, took the car to the mechanic and....wait for it...also loaned us his spare vehicle to drive while the repairs were being made. Still a third offered Michael a job far better than he had and closer to home. We didnt miss a day of work. Our home is safe and we came out of this experience better than we could have ever hoped. Dont give up (we were so close to giving up on Him & us)! God is GOOD...ALL THE TIME.
