Nobody likes bad news. And I am no different. As many of you - TopicsExpress

Nobody likes bad news. And I am no different. As many of you know from my posts, my performances, and our live web show, my band is like a family. We not only play music together, we also share our lives. We have dinners together, we hang out, we send texts and goof around like crazy brothers and sisters. We also strive to include each others significant others and spouses in our musical ohana. So, when something hurts one of us, we all share in the pain. Which brings me to some unfortunate news I need to share with you all. Many of you know Jennifer Watanabe. She is our guitar player Daves wife and also the super cute announcer at the beginning of each SUNWAY Show. Shes been a tremendous supporter of me and the band and she is always at the gigs cheering us on and giving us much needed encouragement. Honestly, she has been there for us ALL. THE. TIME. I am honored to call her a dear, dear friend... Well, now she needs our support and encouragement. Jen recently found out that she has had a recurrence of breast cancer that she beat 5 years ago. It has been unexpected and extremely shocking for she and Dave. In a whirlwind of unexplained pain, a subsequent thorough battery of testing, and ultimately a diagnosis; Jenn will be undergoing a full hip replacement as well as enduring chemotherapy and radiation in the upcoming weeks and months. I would like to humbly ask on behalf of myself, Dave N Jen Watanabe and the rest of our band, that you send all the prayers, good thoughts, and healing positive energy to Jennifer that you can, as she goes through this grueling process. I have no doubt she will do well. She is very strong physically and mentally. But, we all need a little help from our friends when were feeling down, right? So, thank you in advance for your love and support for Jen and Dave. They could really use it right now....
