Nobody should imagine that the United States of America can solve all Africas problems - President Museveni says at meet with U.S. delegation to fast track implementation of projects *Ambassador Scott De Lisi to write to President Barack Obama about meet President Yoweri Museveni has called on the US Government to help in developing Africa`s infrastructure potential like railway, electricity and roads in order to enhance its economic development noting that African countries have the potential and capacity to do things that can transform their economies. The President was yesterday meeting the US delegation led by the US Ambassador to Uganda Mr. Scott Delisi at State House Entebbe. The delegation sought President Museveni`s impression of the recent US- Africa leaders summit held in Washington DC recently and his views on what the US Government can do in economic development of Africa. The US Africa leaders summit that took place this month in Washington D.C unveiled trade deals agreements valued at US$14Billion to improve commercial relationship between the two. Leaders from 50 African States attended the summit. President Museveni said the US- Africa leaders summit was good, but nobody should imagine that US Government will solve all the problems of Africa, the US has her own problems to address. The meeting was good but the problem was on our side thinking that US can solve all our problems, he said. President Museveni noted that the renewal of African Growth and Opportunity Act Project (AGOA), infrastructure development, security and attracting a large number of American Entrepreneurs, is the most important thing the US Government can do in the economic transformation of Africa. The President called on the US Government to renew AGOA Projects in Uganda and Africa at large because its a big support to Africans and the American consumers. The President also called on the US Government to encourage more American entrepreneurs to come to undertake trade as business partners in Africa. The US Ambassador to Uganda Mr. Scott Delisi said he will write to President Barack Obama to inform him about the outcome of the meeting for better implementation of the proposed projects in Africa.
