“Nobody’s perfect!” This was from my sweet momma this - TopicsExpress

“Nobody’s perfect!” This was from my sweet momma this morning as we had a beautiful talk this morning! If we all could just remember these two words a little more often, this world would be a much better place! I love my mom so much and I could never repay her for everything that she has done for me! When it comes to being a super mommy, my mom is untouchable! I’m Nikki So Blessed because I’m the daughter of Mabel So Blessed and at almost 81 years of age she’s still trying to be there for everyone! I told my mom that when she meets God, she could honestly say she did her best in life! I may write about walking bravely with God, but my mom has lived it! A niece got mad at me yesterday because I told her that at my mom’s age we should all be about what we can do for her, not asking or expecting her to do anything for us! That turned into a big drama and I screamed to myself, ‘WHERE IS MY MEDITATION BOOK?’ to calm myself down after she sent a crazy message bringing up a bunch of stuff from the past! I gave my meditation book away to my sister last night, but it had, as usual, the perfect words for me. It said that if we focus on God and ourselves we’ll be seldom troubled by what is seen around us. And I did just that! If my niece wants to live in the past, that’s up to her, but I decided to keep moving forward and focused back on myself as to how I could see that my mom enjoy the rest of her life as much as possible! She’s always been there for me and I want to see that I’m now here for her! “Turn your eyes back upon yourself, and see that you judge not the doings of others. Let us attend to our duties. Let us prepare to render an account to God of all OUR life. Let us judge ourselves severely so that God will not have to judge us. And above all let us guard against judging others. Thus by attending to ourselves, we will avoid making judgments against our neighbor.” Another drama turned lesson, my guys! Rejoice and trust God always! Live kindly, love extravagantly, forgive quickly and let everything YOU do be pleasing to God! WE GO WITH GOD!
