Nomads, a club social is long overdue. Apart from an opportunity to get club members together for a drink or two, Its a great chance to welcome new members. I see no reason why potential members shouldnt also be invited. Whatever bike you ride and no matter how you ride it a social event gets everyone in one bunch for a few laughs, to catch up and encourage. Light hearted banter and abuse is most welcome and so is, as I know hes too shy to ask, buying the Club Captain a beer. Getting a date that suits everyone is impossible. Working on the assumption that a late September date will see the TT/road/MTB season nearly over and the Cross/winter MTB one about to start Im going to suggest as follows: Friday 26th September 7.30pm ish start in The Victoria pub Hitchin.
