Nominations for 2015 Australia Day Awards extended Nominations for the 2015 Australia Day Awards have been extended to the 12th December. People are urged to nominate a Whitsunday resident or group for an Australia Day Award to recognise their passion and commitment to the local community. The awards are a great opportunity to acknowledge the hard work of the many people in our local community who contribute their time in various pursuits often thanklessly.
