One who dares to attempt to think for anyone and conclude anything about a nation of roughly around 317 million people is absurd; particularly when a good portion of Americas population is now comprised of a good number of immigrants, estimated at around 41 million of that 317 million. Of that population, Id be willing to bet a stack of Aunt Jemima buttered and syrup covered waffles, the majority are soccer/football fans. This woman does not have a CLUE what she is talking about. There are PLENTY of Americans that find football (the hand egg variety), baseball, hockey and NASCAR pretty damn boring too, as she has claimed soccer to be. While there are also a good number of Americans who simply enjoy sport and competition, and who could care less WHAT the sport is; to assume that she has any idea or presumes to speak for a nation and their love for or interest in soccer/football as being a fallacy or as being contrived propaganda by sports media and other media alike is not only making her look like a pompous ass, it also directly underlines the kind of ignorance that is seemingly required to make such a general assumption about a nation of people.
