Non-Violent Communication Workshop - A Place to Belong Sunday, 2 February 2014 - 2:00pm - 4:30pm Presented by Carolyn Davies Nonviolent Communication (NVC) is a practical, learnable process for developing a needs-based awareness. It brings heart, life, creativity and effectiveness to your communication with others and your connection with yourself. It enables you to shift from a world of blame, judgment, criticism and conflict to a world of empathy, honesty, clarity and empowerment. NVC was developed by Marshall Rosenberg who founded the International Centre for Nonviolent Communication. The Parish Centre, Anglican Parish of St Thomas, 67 High St, Toowong (bus approx 300m, train approx 400m). Up the stairs between the church and ‘Data 3’ building. Look for the ‘A Place to Belong’ banner. Parking available under the Data 3 building in High Street and in Jephson and High Streets. Bring something to share for afternoon tea if you can.
