Noon Tuesday, Allen update: the CT shows that he has MULTIPLE abscesses in his liver. So now we know where the infection is hiding and why his fever keeps returning. Now, we wait for a consult with a surgeon to see what our options are and what the best plan of attack is to eradicate this menace! He is feeling better, by far, but still a long way from well. One step at a time! Still looking good for getting him out of ICU and into a regular room today! Fingers crossed!
