Norala Hon. Mayor Victor Y Balayon signifies his commitment to enforce the RA 9514 Koronadal City (25 June 2014) – In sincerely advocating the Republic Act (RA) No. 9514 - known as an act establishing a comprehensive Fire Code of the Philippines of 2008, and uplifting the commitment of every Local Executive (LE) of this region to enforce the provisions of the said law, the Officer-in-Charge (OIC) SUPT ALADDIN M GUIOMALA, MAEM with his bureaucracy’s top priority to enforce as such. With that, a memorandum was sent to different fire field offices last June 17, 2014 to solicit confirmations of their LEs. The Acting Municipal Fire Marshal (AMFM) SFO3 Isidro D Benosa was the first who acknowledged the confirmation of their Honorable Mayor Victor Y Balayon for the visitation of his municipality to sign up the “Paninindigan (Commitment) to RA 9514.” At about 3:00 P.M. (Tuesday), OIC SUPT GUIOMALA, MAEM, with his selected staff, regional ambulance duty personnel and the newly installed Acting Municipal Fire Marshal (AMFM) of Sto. Niño, SFO3 Von B Sancho arrived at the Office of the Municipal Mayor, Hon. Balayon, who warmly welcomed and accommodated the visiting team at his office. Hon. Balayon without hesitation signed up the said commitment to manifest his strong willingness to support the said advocacy. “Ang Bureau of Fire dito sa aming municipality ay isa sa mga aktibong partners to respond sa mga emergencies, and I’m so happy that you visited us today, sa abot ng aming makakaya, kami ay susuporta sa pag-enforce ng RA 9514,” Hon.
