Normally the day before Thanksgiving I am packing my suitcase and head out to the airport. I have been traveling on or around Thanksgiving the last 17-18 years. It is very difficult for me, to know I am not traveling this year, since I love my job so much and showing and sharing with friends and strangers the beauty of the holiday season in Europe. Ive only missed two years in the last 20 years. I have been to over 500 Christmas markets and thousands of villages, sharing Christmas stories and traditions with people. This is my career and dream and where my dreams lead. I cannot wait to work on my 20th anniversary tour for 2015, and will share lots of wonderful memories over the next few weeks. I decided not to do a tour this year because I did not know the outcome of my parents accident, and am grateful to be spending this holiday season with them. #happythanksgiving everyone!
