North Carolina-Polkville outage-electric went off at 12AM just came back on 9.12 you can see your breath in your home. Called phone line dead, cell phone dead. what is up with Duke that electric was off for over 9hr as cold as it is out. cant feel fingers absolutely that cold in this house, u can see your breath. I hope for whatever reason they had that the electric was off for that long that it was for a good reason, because the elderly, people with children did not have warmth through this very very cold, wind blowing night. Someone needs to be proud of themselves, checked on line & all Duke had to say for outage was it would be back on no later then 10:30 am. Thanks for the heads up Duke.
