North Chicago School District 187 School Board Meeting. Apathy is slowly & methodically killing us as a people. We NEED TO COME out to these meetings and get informed. There is a deliberate and intentional move by the leadership at the district & high school to keep our alumni, mentors out of our schools. The way that they have treated Carlos Smith, Coach Aubrey, Michael Walton and others is RIDICULOUS! As long as we remain quiet, we will have no one to blame but ourselves. There is a systematic policy that is covertly being carried out to provoke our children versus de-escalating situations that lead to suspensions & expulsions PARENTS, wake up! Lets ensure that our kids are coming to school to LEARN!! Not gang bang; Not fight! We have to STOP letting the REAL ENEMY steal, kill and destroy our young people. PARENTS, LETS BAND TOGETHER AND BE PARENTS NOT FRIENDS! Churches, Pastors & church folk, get involved in the community! We are running out of time! We NEED to go into the highways & byways to reach the lost. We CANT DO IT within the church walls. We CANT DO IT within programs at the church. We MUST DO IT by GOING OUT!!!
