Months on End by Craig Pospisil A comedy of the interwoven lives of 10 people throughout the course of one year. In a series of comic scenes – one for each month of the year – the audience follows a circle of friends and family whose lives are poised between happiness and heartbreak. The story centers around Phoebe (Olivia Rollinger/ Marleigh Treger) and Ben (Nick Asciutto) who are engaged to be married. But Phoebe worries that her Beatles-obsessed fiancé may not be the right man for her. Her friend, Elaine (Tolu Igun/Mia Heard), is jealous of Phoebe’s relationship, especially since none of hers last more than five dates. She’s ready to give up on love until she meets the eternally optimistic Walter (Avery Rausch). Walter’s gruff brother, Nick is single, but when he proposes to Paige on a beach, her answer is to scream and drop the engagement ring in the sand. The diverse scenes and characters in this winning play come together to create a delightful and charming theatrical experience encompassing a range of emotions. The ensemble cast also includes Taylor Mock, Julia Richards, Heba Afaneh, Max Rotenberg, Andy Berman, Jackie Labadie, Lizzie Labadie, Korina Deming, Alec Cohen, Michael Gould, Patrick Vietor, Daniel Isabella. The show is directed and produced by Sean McGuckin and Sheri Jaffurs who are helped by Stage Managers Stephanie Vietor and Frankie Lighting design is by a former graduate, John Schmidt, who is studying at Wayne State. The play will be presented November 6, 7, and 8 at 8:00 p.m. with a matinee on November 8 at 3:00 p.m. at North Farmington High in the Dean and Sue Cobb Center for the Performing Arts. North Farmington High School is located at 32900 W. 13 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills. Tickets are $10 reserved seating and will be sold in the west lobby of North Farmington between 10:30 a.m. and noon beginning Thursday, October 30. Tickets will also be available at the door.
