North can stand on its own By Adam Baba Yamani The #North has always been independent and self reliant even before the advent of the Colonials, the North has been known for it statecraft and stewardship of the west African sub-continent, the Sokoto Caliphate and the Kanem-Bornu Empire were well known to those who have knowlegde and history, the amalgamation only retards the evolutionary development of the Northern Nigeria, we are blessed with all the solid and mineral resources one can think of, we have the human potentials and the Landmass to compete with any Agricultural country of the work, it is high time we severe this unholy marriage knitted and knotted by the Colonials for their own colonial interest, the North is standing on its own, and can always stand of its own, enough of the rascality and bumkumism.
